Microsoft, Time Warner To Discuss Possible Deal

Microsoft and Time Warner have been casually exploring a combination of AOL and Microsoft's online group for several months as an alternative to Microsoft's failed efforts to buy part or all of Yahoo. The discussions remain preliminary, with the shape of a deal yet to be sketched out, but a team from AOL has traveled to Seattle for the talks, the people said.
